Basic Facts of Kurii

• The Kurri had an advanced sense of smell almost as good at a Sleen
• The Kurri could kill eight men easily and weighed in Excess of 900 pounds

• The Kurri relished the flesh of female slaves. They ate them, they were food. AKA Marauders: Kur Cow. The Kurri word for Human IS Cattle.
• The Kur on the Steel Worlds ARE Different from the Native Kur of Gor.
• Kurri ships are destroyed by the priest kings if they are detected and land (or crash) on Gor. The Kur that are on the planet degenerate quickly to Barbarism and Anarchy.
• Kurri are nocturnal, but functional in the day
• White Furred Kurri - Of the Polar North actually swim. Other Kurri hate water and will avoid it, I would suspect they dont swim and have an unnatural fear of water
• Kurri cannot eat grain or bread (Assume all organics) They will be nauseated and vomit.
• Native Kurri have to live within the the technology laws of the Priest Kings while on Gor, The technology of the Kurri has been degrading over thousands of years anyway, they have been regressing. They did have gas charged Dart Guns but, the standard issue weapon of a Kur is simply an Axe... They did not use these projectiles in Marauders.
• Kurii do not make friends of humans. They use them and then eliminate or eat them. The closest is a respect from combat or maybe the perception of a pet.
• Kur have four genders
- dominant male
- non-dominant male, to affraid to join the Killings, no right to mate at all
- female - eggbearer
- blood nursers - immobile creatures which bred out the fertilised Kur eggs (see it as a corals)
• Kurii have female human pets. The pets sprang in their furs, and nibbled the Kurii pelt and eats lice and other small animals in it.
• Kurii did not have sex with humans
• Kur females are agressive too, they fought sometimes till the death for teh right to mate with a famous Kur male
• Kur females had a harem of non-dominant Kur males
• Kurii had a hunting cylinder were they hunted game (this idea Norman stole from Jack Vance who describes a such like environment in his book The Dirdir)
• In the Kur worlds live human allies with their slaves
• The Kur have Killing Humans, kinda gladiators
• The Kur have cattle farms, where dumb humans are bred, fattened and brought to the slaughter house (this is with sadistical detail described by John Norman)
• There is a half Kur - Lord Grendel, he is immense strong (stronger then a Kur) but a bad master since he is manipulated by a free woman

- In each Kur steel world is a representative - the xth Face of the Nameless One
• Bloodbrothers of Gor
- Kurii fight to the death, with claws only for honor
- Kurii like to play with their food (ne swings a kajira at her legs in circles above his head)

Prize of Gor
- Humans from Earth roam the Gorean surface accompanied with a band of Kur. The Goreans who meet them think the Kurii are a kinda of huge teddybears till.....
